Areeb Technology’s AI Internship’26: Empowering the Next Generation of Innovators

At Areeb Technology, innovation is more than a goal; it is part of the company’s culture and long-term vision. The commitment to building innovative communities was clearly reflected in a recent internship program dedicated entirely to artificial intelligence. Conducted over the course of three months, from March to June, the internship brought together seven exceptional undergraduate students who represented some of the most promising young talents in the field. The program was designed not only to introduce participants to real-world AI applications, but also to challenge them to build practical solutions that could create measurable impact. Throughout the internship, the participants worked on a variety of projects where AI played a central role.
Intelligent product search
One of the key areas of focus was the development of intelligent product search and product ranking solutions.
These efforts aimed to improve the way users discover and evaluate products by using more advanced and context-aware search capabilities. Rather than limiting their work to traditional approaches, the interns explored how AI can enhance both the relevance and efficiency of search experiences in ways that align with modern user expectations.
Agentic AI
A major dimension of the internship centered around agentic AI, a field that is rapidly reshaping the future of digital products and services.
Within this domain, the interns examined several important subtopics, including text search, image search, and bilingual speech search.
These areas gave them exposure to different modes of interaction between users and intelligent systems, while also allowing them to understand how AI can be used to serve diverse audiences with varying needs and preferences.
The inclusion of bilingual speech search reflected the growing importance of building solutions that are both accessible and regionally relevant.
Creative AI Agents
In addition to search-related applications, the interns developed a range of AI agents designed to solve practical content and creative challenges.
These agents could create complete professional presentations, generate videos, and write content tailored to the right tone, audience, channel, and objective.
They also built systems that could support UI/UX design decisions by recommending the most suitable design direction based on context.
For example, one use case involved designing a website experience specifically targeted to the Saudi market, showing how AI can be used to produce recommendations that are not only technically strong, but also strategically aligned with user and market expectations.
Another standout element of the program was the interns’ work on exploring verified data through advanced deep search practices. This added a strong research component to the internship, helping participants appreciate the importance of credibility, precision, and trust in AI-driven outputs.
A Fruitful Partnership and Valuable Results
By combining technical experimentation with practical business applications, the internship created an environment where talent could grow rapidly and meaningfully.
The internship was a clear success and stands as one of the most fruitful outcomes of Areeb Technology’s partnership with NTI. It demonstrated how structured mentorship, meaningful challenges, and a forward-looking approach to AI can unlock the potential of emerging talent.
Most importantly, the program delivered a tangible result: by the end of the internship, Areeb chose to hire one of the interns to join the team.
